Sasha Grey Featured in Rolling Stone’s ‘Hot’ Issue

LOS ANGELES — Adult star Sasha Grey has been named to Rolling Stone magazine’s 2008 Hot List.

The adult star has garnered much mainstream exposure in recent months due to her starring role in Steven Soderbergh’s upcoming movie “The Girlfriend Experience,” a picture about the life of a high-priced call girl.

She is listed in Rolling Stone as this year’s “Hot Porn Star.” Her feature takes up three-quarters of a page in the iconic music magazine.

“The simple fact that I was selected to be in Rolling Stone’s Hot Issue this year is an honor in itself; they actually scouted me out before the news broke about my role in ‘The Girlfriend Experience.’ For me that's the icing on the cake,” Grey said.

“With her sad eyes, waifish body and willingness to push the boundaries of porn, Grey quickly became the toast of the San Fernando Valley. She has screamed and sworn her way through more than 100 movies,” Rolling Stone writer Claire Hoffman wrote of Grey. “Grey's stardom is starting to titillate people in legitimate Hollywood. Naturally, she likes that feeling very much.”
